On Wednesday, 23 April 2014, in the evening at 19:20, in Druskininkų municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 133.90), a Citroen Jumper registered in Belarus hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Citroen (a citizen of Belarus) (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
