On Wednesday, 30 April 2014, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Plungės district municipality, on Birutės street near No. 22B, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Renault (37 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
