On Friday, 2 May 2014, at night at 23:46, in Telšių district municipality, Kirklių village, a Citroen Xantia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.04‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
