On Tuesday, 6 May 2014, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaunas, on R. Kalantos street near No. 59, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a MAN registered in Serbia and a Volkswagen Crafter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the MAN (a citizen of Serbia) (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
