On Sunday, 18 May 2014, in the evening at 22:08, in Vilnius, on Gandrų street, at the junction with Šiaurės street, a collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen was drunk (1.39‰) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
