On Monday, 26 May 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 84.70), a Seat Altea rolled over. Two people were injured — the 29-year-old driver of the Seat (treated as an outpatient) and a 29-year-old passenger of the Seat (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Seat (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
