On Monday, 26 May 2014, in the afternoon at 15:06, in Kaunas, on Drobės street near No. 66, a falling cargo occurred. The accident involved a Chrysler Town & Country and a Volvo FL7. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Volvo (17 years of driving experience), who violated cargo-transport rules. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
