On Tuesday, 27 May 2014, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, Šlapių Priemiesčio village, a Honda Prelude ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.29‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
