On Thursday, 29 May 2014, at night at 23:05, in Utenos district municipality, Tauragnų village, on Musteikio street near No. 24, in a yard, a Renault Megane Scenic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Renault (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (3.33‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
