On Friday, 6 June 2014, in the evening at 17:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 90.06), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, an Audi A4, a Mercedes-Benz E220 and a Volkswagen Multivan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
