On Monday, 9 June 2014, at night at around 2:00, in Šakių district municipality, Judrių village, on Taikos street near No. 5, an Audi A6 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Audi (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
