On Thursday, 12 June 2014, in the evening at around 20:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 57.95), an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.62‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
