Drunk, unlicensed driver's KTM Pony moped rolls over in Joniškio district
On Wednesday, 18 June 2014, in the afternoon at 13:23, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 3.10), a KTM Pony rolled over. One person was injured — the 62-year-old driver of the KTM (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the KTM, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.77‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
