On Thursday, 29 May 2014, in the evening at 18:40, in Trakų district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 and a Volkswagen Caravelle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Audi (21 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
