On Tuesday, 24 June 2014, in the evening at around 17:00, in Trakų district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 17, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Sierra and a Saab 9-5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
