On Sunday, 6 July 2014, at night at 0:55, in Šiaulių district municipality, Gilvyčių village, on Pušyno street near No. 1, a BMW 530 D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
