On Tuesday, 8 July 2014, at night at 0:44, in Biržų district municipality, Šniukščių village, a Lipecko TG (LTZ) T-40 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Lipecko TG (LTZ), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
