On Sunday, 13 July 2014, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Klaipėda, on Markučių street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Opel Vectra (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.89‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
