On Friday, 4 July 2014, in the evening at 18:58, in Kalvarijos municipality, on V. Kudirkos street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and an Aprilia Rally 50. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 42-year-old cyclist, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (3.64‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. The 20-year-old driver of the Aprilia had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
