On Friday, 18 July 2014, in the evening at 21:45, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road, an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.26‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
