On Saturday, 26 July 2014, in the afternoon at 16:27, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 29.45), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Iveco AS440S42, a Seat Cordoba Vario and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Iveco (31 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
