Hit-and-run Citroen C4 Picasso driver crashes on the Vilnius–Utena road
On Sunday, 3 August 2014, at night at 23:30, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 64.30), in a roadworks zone, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Citroen C4 Picasso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Citroen (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. A 38-year-old passenger of the Citroen was drunk (1.64‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
