On Monday, 11 August 2014, in the evening at 18:45, in Tauragės district municipality, Kirklių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 207.29), a Dacia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Dacia (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
