On Tuesday, 2 September 2014, in the evening at 21:10, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Skaistgirys–Jurdaičiai–Jankūnai regional road (kilometre 8), a Daelim SG 125F ran off the road. Two people died — the 20-year-old driver of the Daelim and a 26-year-old passenger of the Daelim. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Daelim (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
