On Thursday, 4 September 2014, in the morning at around 6:00, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 28.85), a Renault Magnum E-Tech 440 registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Renault (a citizen of Poland) (27 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
