On Saturday, 4 October 2014, at night at 4:06, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Šumskas national road (kilometre 25.50), a BMW 730 rolled over. The accident was caused by a 24-year-old passenger of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
