On Monday, 6 October 2014, in the afternoon at 16:16, in Telšių district municipality, Tryškių town, on M. Valančiaus street near No. 5, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.59‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
