On Tuesday, 7 October 2014, in the evening at 17:12, in Tauragės district municipality, Molupio village, on Obelų street, a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
