On Friday, 10 October 2014, in the afternoon at 12:46, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Kalviai–Verksnionys–Kariūnai regional road (kilometre 7), a Mazda 323 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.48‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
