On Sunday, 12 October 2014, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on J. Pabrėžos street, at the junction with A. J. Greimo street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Ibiza and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Seat (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (2.34‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
