On Saturday, 18 October 2014, in the morning at around 9:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on P. Vaičaičio street near No. 27, a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.14‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
