On Sunday, 19 October 2014, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Bugeniai–Pikeliai national road (kilometre 9.04), a Rover 620 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.53‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
