On Friday, 24 October 2014, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Kauno district municipality, on Čekiškės street, at the junction with Nemuno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors Clarus and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
