On Friday, 31 October 2014, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kauno district municipality, Babtų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 118.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Audi 80 (12 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
