On Tuesday, 11 November 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kauno district municipality, Rupinų village, an Opel Corsa rolled over. Two people were injured — a 15-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 15-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
