On Friday, 12 December 2014, in the afternoon at 11:53, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 346, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Opel Combo hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 42-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
