On Wednesday, 17 December 2014, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Kaunas, on Švenčionių street near No. 5, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania R 480, a Volkswagen Transporter and a Schmitz SCS 24. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Scania (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
