On Friday, 19 December 2014, in the evening at around 19:00, in Palangos city municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 32.80), a Citroen C8 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
