On Monday, 22 December 2014, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Didžioji street near No. 98, a Renault Megane hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
