Hit-and-run Subaru driver in crash with Volkswagen at Pelesos g. and Dariaus ir Girėno g., Vilnius

On Tuesday, 23 December 2014, in the afternoon at 11:31, in Vilnius, on Pelesos street, at the junction with Dariaus ir Girėno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Baja and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Subaru (23 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
