On Friday, 26 December 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Prienų district municipality, Jiestrakio village, on Ąžuolų street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
