On Monday, 29 December 2014, in the evening at around 17:00, in Vilnius, on Žaliųjų Ežerų street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Honda Accord, a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Honda (16 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. She was drunk (1.46‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
