On Sunday, 4 January 2015, in the afternoon at 16:57, in Kėdainių district municipality, Šingalių village, on the Aristava–Kėdainiai–Cinkiškiai national road (kilometre 14.45), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406, a DAF FT XF105, a Koegel and a Mazda 626. Two people were injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Mazda (treated as an outpatient) and a 64-year-old passenger of the Mazda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Peugeot (1 year of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
