On Wednesday, 14 January 2015, in the morning at 7:50, in Šiauliai, on Gegužių street near No. 45, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Sintra and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Opel (29 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
