On Monday, 19 January 2015, in the afternoon at 16:12, in Trakų district municipality, on the Privažiuojamasis kelias prie Alaburdiškių regional road (kilometre 1), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
