On Sunday, 25 January 2015, in the morning at 5:30, in Kaunas, on Vandžiogalos street near No. 108, a Subaru Impreza hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Subaru (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
