On Tuesday, 27 January 2015, in the morning at 7:45, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Pyktiškės village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 274.60), a Peugeot 106 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
