On Friday, 30 January 2015, at night at 23:57, in Kazlų Rūdos municipality, on the Gudeliai–Smilgiai–Būdviečiai regional road (kilometre 11.10), a BMW 318 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.05‰ blood alcohol).
