On Saturday, 31 January 2015, in the afternoon at 12:57, in Ignalinos district municipality, Ceikinių village, on Bažnyčios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic and an Audi 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
