On Saturday, 31 January 2015, in the morning at around 8:00, in Šiauliai, on Rūdės street near No. 14, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Mercedes-Benz 1828 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
